Avaya IP Office 9.1

Avaya continues to improve the Avaya IP Office™ Platform. Release 9.1 is the most scalable, resilient, powerful, and simplest to use & administer that we have ever produced. Below are some of the enhancements we are introducing in release 9.1 that will help Avaya and our partners build upon our market leadership. IP Office 9.1 is targeted for General Availability on December 22.

Further Expansion into the Midmarket
• 25% more users (up to 2,500 users and 150 sites now, vs. 2,000 users and 32 sites with IP Office 9.0)
• All 2,500 users can access the full UC capabilities of IP Office
• Increased resiliency to better recover from potential outages

Continued UC Enhancements
• Integrated web collaboration for more robust meetings
• Move one-X Mobile Preferred calls from VoIP to Call-Back and vice-versa
• Scheduling of audio and web collaboration meetings means ports are available when you need them

Simplified Administration
• LDAP/Active Directory integration automates creating new user accounts
• Web Manager gets even more capabilities for more consistency and simplicity
• End-user self administration makes minor changes easier and faster for everyone

General Enhancements
• Even better security policies and more encryption
• Enterprise branch improvements make IP Office an even better option for larger opportunities
• Voice quality monitoring provides more robust troubleshooting capabilities
